About

The goal of this blog is to encourage people to read the Bible daily. A daily reading can strengthen our faith, our walk and our relationship with God. We know He died for us and that we are now to live for Him.

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. (2Co 5:15)

Tithing involves giving ten percent of our time, talent and resources. Are you giving ten percent of your time? If we worked 8 hours a day and slept for another 8 hours and could only give Him ten percent of the remaining 8 hours, that would be 48 minutes. Are you giving Him 48 minutes of your day? Think you do not that much time available in a day? Think again. I work 12-13 hours a day and in the past did not think I could do it either but then I realized that there are a lot of things in my life that are of no lasting value. What could be more important than spending time with our Lord and His word. If I can do it, I believe you can too.

I lead a small Bible Study group at Cybersoft, a software company in Houston, TX. We meet each Friday morning at 7:00 am. Several members of the group have committed to reading the Bible through this year. The more important goal was for us all was to read every day. After considering several reading guides, we chose to read from beginning to end and to follow a reading guide from Back to the Bible. For convenience, I added a pdf of the Reading Plan. My wife and children have joined me in this journey. I pray God that He keep us on course the entire year and that many others be encouraged to join along.

Read the Bible Daily!
